Has anyone here used the Hogue finger groove grips on a CZ? I know they work well on other service frame pistols, but haven't ever held a CZ with them.
Any other grips that I should check out that are "grippier" than just the stock plastic ones?
He's talking about the CZ factory rubber grip panels, not the Hogue wrap arounds. I have the rubber grip panels on both my 75B, and PCR. They work well, and look fine, although I like the CZ wooden grips better for aesthetics.
I put one on my fiance's nickel 9mm. She didn't like the factory grips, or the rubber grips. The Houge makes her feel more confident with the pistol. Which was good as she was a new shooter.
I did sand down and smooth out the finger grooves a little. They were too large and separated our fingers too much. After that, the grips feel real grippy and comfortable.
I think I've pretty much settled on the cz factory rubber grips, at least for now. The wood or vz grips are really nice, but a bit out of price range for now. Maybe down the road a bit!
