This is probably a newb question, but here goes anyway.
I was checking out this site:

and it occurred to me that since we have drop-thigh holsters for handguns, doesn't it stand to reason that drop-thigh holsters for handgun magazines could be useful as well? I did a bit of research, and found that there are some drop-thigh pouches for rifle and submachinegun magazines. I'm pretty sure that there are drop-thigh MOLLE platforms as well, and handgun magazine pouches could surely be attached to those with ease.
But are there any purpose-built drop-thigh magazine pouches for pistols? Could these be useful for competition shooting, combat, or just fun? Any thoughts and comments are welcome.
