Thinking about a Bushnell Engage scope.

The new Deploy™ MOA reticle features 1-MOA windage and elevation hashmarks are different. My 6.5 came with this 20211112_060411.jpg Works ok.

Can't go wrong with Bushnell. A 3x9 has been on my 30-06 for over 40 years. I do buy their better, middle of the line scopes.

The Savage Axis packages on 223 & 6.5 CM rifles, have the lowest prices Bushnell scopes. No issues so far on mine.

I own a Nitro and 3 or 4 Prime scopes but the one I wish I had was the Match Pro. Would be an excellent match for a nicer rimfire rifle. No experience with the Engage but I wouldn’t hesitate in buying one if it suited my purpose.

I have a Bushnell Elite 4200 on my hunting rifle. This is the second rifle for this scope. It is approximately 15 years old and has held up well in all kinds of weather. I haven’t purchased a Bushnell recently so I don’t know how the quality is today.

I have some old Banners. They been doing fine. Just took one off my 760 it's been on the gun a long time. I always thought it was an old tasco. Until i changed it. The white print on it turned tanish.

'16 single shot ADL 223 cast bullet rig, bought new from Bud's. Got the Bushnell elite 3200 4-12X40 used, mint condition, very cheap..... off one of my gun forums. Shot some ceracoat, and PTG single shot adapter,Timney, and highly modified tupperware.

It's one of those combinations that's like the clouds splitting and a beam of sunlight shines down, sorta things. To say I love this, very non-assuming scope is an understatement. It's one of my alltime favorites.

I was talking to joe rea one day at the range (he is the youtube scope reviewer, cyclops) and he said the 30mm tube engages were a lot better than the 1" tube scopes, and the 30mm ones were quite nice for the price.

I recently considered an Engage and a friend just bought one. I think they are a decent inexpensive scope, IF you like the reticle, which is why I did not buy it. I would buy an Elite 4500 with a duplex reticle, if I can find one. Word of advice: don't buy it because it's a bargain. Buy it because it is what you like and want. BTW, I'm selling a Riton that I bought because it was a bargain and hoped I would get used to the reticle. It lasted one trip to the woods and it is now for sale.

I bought 2 optics used a few years ago, a Bushnell 3200 3 -9 x 40 and a couple weeks
Months later a Leopold vx11 3-9x40. Gave both to my SIL he loves them both, but likes the LMK Leopold better. Both optics are on centerfire hunting tifles.

Elite has been discontinued. There are no more non-Chinese optics from the company.
I sort of suspect the company has been gutted when it comes to in-house manufacturing and optical design. They don't sell parts any more for any optics, and they don't service Elite scopes. Their customer support phone service does not work reliably. Warranty claims for Elites seem to result in the claimant being offered their current top-tier Chinese optics as a replacement.
That said, I bought a pair of their upper tier Chinese binos at a steep discount, and I am not unhappy. But I consider my 2 Bushnell Elite scopes to be a sort of time capsule of when Bushnell was a real player in optics, post B&L.

I know the Bushnell Forge is made in China, says so on the scope (A real nice scope by the way), but where are the DMR/DMR2/Pro/XRS II & III made?
I stand corrected. Looks like they mixed things up recently there. I see non-Chinese scopes listed now. I wonder if there was a big organizational change. If so, I hope they build back some of their old reputation. Everything I said applied around a year back.
