If you want a 6:00 hold, short of getting your file out, changing the front sight is the cheapest way I know to get it.
Front night sights arent all that expensive, $35 or so, and can be put on with a hammer and punch, but the tool is the better way. Ive never been hot on hammering on the night sights.
You still adjust windage with the rear sight. Not that you couldnt move the front and accomplish the same thing, but its not normally done.
