Thinking of a AR pistol in 5.56

I would choose the Adams Arms built pistol.
I have a rifle of theirs and a Radical. The Rad is not as smooth, really sharp burrs and sandpaper-esque anodizing, and needed port work to operate. The Adams parts I have used are of high quality.
I have not used either brands pistol set.
I have not used a Stag anything.

Just another data point.:)

I built mine with intention of a tractor/ combine gun to shoot coyotes and varmints with, but it became obvious that it was so effective and wicked that I wanted it under my bed in the biometric safe instead.

It is LOUD. Make no mistake. The bloop tube helps.

I keep this one handy most of the time. No muzzle blast, but still sorta loud, especially in more confined areas. I wear hearing aids, and cant shoot a 22 in the carport without protection, but I can shoot this without it from the same spot with no problem for a few rounds.
