As I'm sure some have found regarding, well, just about anything one could mention; including 1911s.
My point here is:
1. Some people prefer vanilla to chocolate.
2. Some prefer chocolate to vanilla.
3. I will NEVER understand why some chocolate lovers seem compelled to tell vanilla lovers why they're wrong; and vice versa.

Lets say I prefer swirl. If I keep it to myself, I'll not receive feedback; if I post on a food forum, I may get feedback.

Lets say I think 3k oil changes are a good idea. Keep it to myself, no feedback. Post that on a car forum, probably get feedback, maybe negative.
If I don't want oil change feedback, why would I post what I do (prefer / think) on a car forum?

Lets say someone carries a 32 in a "good area", but a 9mm elsewhere ... why post that on a gun forum and not expect feedback?
Some people seem to want gun forum show & tell, but they are not receptive to questions, comments, suggestions, on a gun discussion forum.
