Since I just got a PM asking me......:D

For those who are wondering *** ny32182 and SeanK are talking about, it is an XCR Forum in joke about a recently banned member with a, shall we say, certain special posting style.

I was very much wondering. Thanks for the explanation.

Incidentally none of my ARs have the level of jams he's claiming for two XCRs, and my M96 will operate 100% with mags that don't work in my ARs. Sooooo..... me thinks someone has a magazine problem. And a problem with CP mags for 7.62x39 would not exactly be a revelation.

I specifically started a thread here looking for anyone who had significant numbers of rounds through a SCAR; came up empty. I own an XCR, and have handled a SCAR (it is on my to-buy list) but have never fired one. I can run down my impressions based on that if you are interested.

I hope you don't mind, I am not LE, I am a Real Estate Agent

So no one has any hands on experience comparing the XCR to the FN SCAR?
I own both. I dont have a ton of rounds through the SCAR yet, but I have shot it side by side with the XCR. I have a good foundation for a basic comparison. Exactly what do you want to know?

As interesting as the bus is...I would like to hear more about the rifles.

EDIT: You beat me to it Erik.

Folks,

Please no more ragging on Agent, it is eminently possible that he and the late lamented Lionheart of XCRForum are not the same.

If he is a new poster on THR we should play nicely or at least factually......

I too would like to see the thread continue without a legitimate Mod Lock.......:(

Right, that's my supply of nice for the month used up, the missus is not going to be best pleased...

You can’t compare SCAR to XCR because they are not in the same class, XCR made by Rob Arms the best arm manufacture in the world .
XCR is accurate and reliable out of the box and good to go, that is due to the great quality control.
SCAR is a plastic cheaply made rifle, originally made as a range toy.

I am sure the other fan-boys will agree with me.

You're right, Erik/Mav/Ever -- I just got tired of ol' lionheart on the other board and hate to see him screw up another forum.

I have more that 100,000 rounds on my XCR. I took it to a few carbine classes, and 3 gun competitions, without a single malfunction .

Umm, agent, you're going to have to let us know when you're kidding and when you're serious - are ANY of your posts serious? If not, then you're not helping anything.

Do I have to post my real name, so you people know, I am dead serious.
I take the internet very seriously.

I'm so lost. First, he says that he has two XCR's that can't make it through a 30rd mag without malfunctioning...now he says he has 100,000rds through his XCR and its been to carbine courses and 3 gun comps and ran fine. Which is it!?

By the by...100,000 rds is quite a few Agent. I'm curious, in that many rounds, what parts have you had to replace? What was your longest period of extended fire (in number of rounds) and how hot was the BCG after that? How badly did she start stringing her shots during extended fire?

Looking at prices of these things, and knowing the prices of ammo, guess I am in the wrong line of work, and should switch over to Real Estate in order to fund my dirty habit :D

I had my XCR for about 4 years , every Saturday, I take it to the range and fire 500 rounds .

4years x52weeks x500rounds = 104,000 rounds
