This is a Troll Question = CCW Badge?

OK, so at the gun show last weekend I saw on one of the tables the fancy, heavy LE-type shields (badges) for CCW, like those sold at

So... what is your opinion of these things?
Isn't the point of concealed carry to, uh, be concealed?
Just when would anyone fell it appropriate to flash, or even worse, wear this badge?
