This is why pistol grips on a shotgun don't work...

For some reason thought getting an ATI stock six position was good idea on my mav88 well you can use the pistol grip, without the stock, best fried and a cop moved his tooth .2 of an inch back... it was funny.

+1 for from the hip or not at all.

The funniest thing to me is that my little sister fired my pistol grip 500 today with slugs and had no problem. Well not like that anyway, she gave up after 2 rounds but she really liked birdshot. Today was the first day she shot any firearm, saw us shooting (me and my son) and had to try. It was a shoot em up family xmas. Lotsa new shooters. My new sis in law right out of the gate was getin 1 inch groups with a 10/22. First time out.

I see a trip to the dentist in that young man's future. Not to mention that he learned a valuable lesson, The hard way.

I hate to admit this in public but I've done that with my 870 20ga PGO shotgun, it hurt like hell and gave me a bloody lip. I learned from my mistake though.

And please no flames about PGO shotguns, I use that gun mostly for fun when plinking.

Man, that hurt just watching it. And they had to play it again in slow motion in the end. What a swell friend.

It's not the pistol grip that's the problem, but rather the lack of a shoulder stock.

I've always wondered about the seeming popularity of pistol-grip-only shotguns, when a shotgun with a folding stock stores just as compactly and can be used much more effectively than a stockless gun.

I can't conceal a folding stock gun, and NOT all folder designs are as compact. PGO shotguns are very limited in use.

Operator Issues just got a new definition. I have to agree that PGO Shotguns have limited use. Although now we could and education and entertainment to the list of uses

I found the porn videos from the site's links more entertaining. At least they know how to work their equipment.

You mean no one got shot in the face?

Physics 101

One of the rules of Newtonian physics is: "For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction."

Power going forward = Power going back. See Video.

Class dismissed.

If that guy had ever shot a 12 gauge in his life, I can't understand how he could not understand how it would kick. A 12 gauge was the 1st gun I ever shot, at the age of 5. My father held the weight of it. I got the recoil. Terribly painful as I recall, but also the most amazing thing I had ever done up to that point. My father took me duck hunting. We did not see any, but he wanted me to shoot the gun. I pointed at lillypads, pulled the trigger and watched as the lillypads exploded and witnessed a blur as I flew back several feet into a tree.

I have aimed PG shotguns. It doesnt hit you if you pull hard forward with the left hand. A stock makes it a much better weapon though.
