This one right here is really puzzling.

I know it is absurd, I think Mossberg got way too many brakes and decided to put them on all their products to make them "tacticool"

That said the only Mossberg I would buy is their 500 line of shotguns.

I bet that brake weighs the whole darn rifle down, Mossberg need to stick with their 500's and 590's.

Mabey thay thought that .22 kick harder than a mule!!! :neener:

I can put 35 rounds down range in my .460 Weatherby Mag, but can barely take three shots from my 13 1/2 lb .22 with reduced loads and a recoil pad.

You fellows have it all wrong!! That is not a muzzle brake... It is a reverse silencer. After years of blasting away their hearing with Ipods the youth of America need help hearing if their 22 has fired or not.
Mossberg wants you to know they are the first firearm manufacturer to address this growing problem......:D

gecko45.... there are really people out there like this .... it scares me. and that mossberg is great .lol. my buddy bought his first rifle about 2 years ago, he comes over to my house with it and shows me how the forend turns into a forend pistol grip. i laughed at him. i think it would be great if my buddy went out and bought one of these just to match his other mossberg piece of crap.

Somebody at Mossberg had entirely too much time on their hands, went to the bathroom, and there was no Gecko45 to save them from themself.

At least they have a sense of humor.

"You and the kids will have a lot of fun
shooting at varmints, critters and cans.
If your kids are the sensitive type,
explain they can always get new cans."

I wonder how well it works. Not that I have an issue with my 10/22, but I bet that it completely gets rid of recoil and muzzleflip. That would be sweet. Also, it is going to push a lot of the sound back at you which might be fun for little kids that like to feel like they are shooting a big loud gun. I shoot a bunch of rockchucks around here and if they cant tell where you are they dont know which way to go. This thing would be good if it kept the sound from getting to the chucks and alerting them of your position. I would get one for my kid but I would have to shoot one first to see if it even made a difference.

I keep hearing about mall ninjas, what are they?

My rat-bastard step son 'n law is a mall ninja. We go hunting or to the range and he looks like a Navy Seal. His Ruger 10/22 has the tactical stock, bipod and bull barrel (for squirrel).

I had him with me at a gunshow and heard him ask the knife vendor if a particular knife was combat-ready.

Wow Lol.

I'm gonna wait to see if T/C Arms puts it on the 209X50. They could advertise it as providing cover by diverting smoke around the shootist. But this .22LR critter?! Well, it has me puzzled.

Edit to add: I just can't take it any longer. That is the ugliest firearm I ever did see. For once, I have found a firearm that I would not want...not even for free.

The muzzle break is rediculous, but I have the non MallNinja'd version, and its a damn fine gun, especially when you can get one brand new for $99-$110 and spare mags at walmart for $8 a pop.
