Does the Ruger BX Trigger fit on the Thompson Center T/CR22?

Also, does the BX Trigger have the auto bolt release?

My two BX trigger equipped Rugers don’t auto-release the 10/22 bolts either.

Stay safe.

I believe it will fit but you will lose last-round hold open. If you’re looking to improve the trigger I believe Volquartsen has a compatible parts list and their hammer and auto release can be swapped in without loss of function. They claim a 3 lb pull weight.

Skylerbone,....that's actually what I'm looking for. A better trigger. I looked on Volquartsen's site, but didn't see anything for the Thompson.

Thanks again. I was more hoping for dropin items, rather than the complete lower,....which the BX-Trigger is far less expensive and still feels good.

I may just leave it as it is and just accept that it has a mediocre trigger.

I've had my t/cr22 apart before. It was going to place a nicer trigger in it [the one I had on my custom 10/22 before I got an even better trigger for it]........but then realized that the holes didn't align. Closer together on the Thompson. Which really sucks because the overly curved trigger on the T/CR22 isn't all that comfortable.

brimstonegunsmithing does have a nearly $100 trigger upgrade and pull......but that's quite a bit for this rifle. But then,.....I do like shooting it,....so maybe doing that upgrade would be best anyway. But if I did that, I'd probably void the warranty on the rifle. :-/

Another thing the website was saying, right before you click the "Buy", is that having them install the trigger and components,....you waive the rights if they make your rifle unsafe [or something like that]. I'm sure it is just legal "covering their butts" sort of thing. But for $95, it seems like quite a lot of money. Not sure what I should do.

someguy2800, the triggers aren't the same. I tried doing that awhile back. There are two wholes on the Ruger and Thompson trigger. The holes on the Thompson are closer spaced.
