Bought what I thought was a HK91 wide forearm at a gun shop today for cheap. Wasn't quite sure since it wasn't labeled "HK" didn't have the usual bipod attachment point and indents, they had an old slimline forearm there and it looked more or less dimensionally correct. I'm on the road and can't try mounting it on my rifle but after looking at a few pictures online I'm not so sure what I got is the usual HK91 wide forearm. Besided the previously mentioned lack of bipod stuff it curved where it meets the receiver. It was cheap so I'm not too concerned if it doesn't fit but I'm curious just what I may have purchased.

First pic is a couple HKs w/ the normal wide forearm and the rest are my new purchase:

That was my question before I bought it but the length seemed correct compared to the slimline forarm they also had and the 93 forearm is pretty much just a shorter version of the 91 forearm.

Did some searching through HK Pro and it looks like it might be from a G41 which is apparently lesser known rifles. The lack of bipod mount and curve where it would meet the receiver both make me think thats what it might be. Seems like not many were brought into the US which makes me wonder if it's an actual HK part and what it might be worth if it is the real deal.

pretty cool weapon. i didn't know about that one. all of the benefits of a HK93, and cheap magazines.

seems like a good contender for the forearm. now you need to find "the rest of the parts"

Yeah.... I think this one will be a little out of my price range, maybe build up a replica. I'm curious to see how i will fit up to my rifle once I get home.
