They are fantastic, I've done jug, wet phone book, and wet fiberboard tests. Three petals fly off in 120 deg cuts, core plows fairly straight through target.

I believe they were killed by LE the same way the "Black Talons" were. Google can perhaps confirm that.

I'm a fan, I'd love to get my hands on a few K of the projectiles to do some load development.

I've heard various things about them, ranging from "poor penetrator" to "DRT awesome."

May want to test them out yourself.

A Sheriff's department captain from a fairly large city nearby recently told me they found 'em awesome on car doors and such from their .45ACPs.

It's a nasty shootin' round too. Snappy kick and lots of flames. I carry three moonclipped sets of six Aquilla 117 grainers in my backup ammo for my chopped 25-2 car gun, along with a moonclip of hardball and a bunch of 230 grain Federal Hydrashock.

Needless to say, I feel pretty good about my choice of weapon and ammo!

Friends and I have used them since they first came out.
We have (backyard) tested them in every way we could think of and they are just plain mean.

As advertised, on hard targets they stay in one piece and penetrate and break up into 3-4 chunks on soft targets.

I don't use the 9mm and 40 S&W because the 3-4 chunks are too small IMO.

Even from a Bond Arms Derringer the 45 IQ is doing 1245 FPS.

We shot a 5 gallon water jug using a 45ACP Compact Kimber.

The plan was I'd hit the top half of the jug, then the bottom half before it hit the ground.

When the bullet hit the top half the shock caused the jug to rise up about five inches and roll to the left.

I got the second shot in the bottom half while the jug was still in the air.
The jug was totally torn up.

I've got a box or two of them I bought on clearance from my favorite gunshow ammo dealer.

I've shot them out of a full sized Norinco M1911 and a Springfield MicroCompact. I found them reliable, reasonably accurate at 50' and controllable. Interestingly, they were VERY controllable in the MicroCompact, although the muzzle flash was astonishing.

They jamed every 45 I owned at the time except a junk Llama. The flame out the barrel is to much and I would never bet my life on a bullet that breaks up like that. Not in my pistols any longer. I want perteration and expansion You get neither What you get is noise, flash , and little penteration.
Go buy real HP's or Corbon DPX Don't bet on these

I've never seen any of that, but I love their .22 SSS. It's a 60-grain LRN. It's probably the only .22 that doesn't jam my Ruger Mk I. Accurate too.
