thoughts on suppressor for 350 Legend

thinking I want to suppress my 350 Legends- Bolt and AR unit (Ruger American Ranch and AR-15)
I would have to do both 1/2x28 and 5/8x24 threads
thoughts or experience in suppressing 350 Legends?

Me I’m going to get a Fly 9 Can from TBAC for this very purpose

Shooting supersonic .355 dia. bullets especially from an AR between the crack and port pop you won't get real quiet. I would lean towards keeping the can smaller and just try to get in the mid 130 Db.
I run a Torrent T9k which is a 5" 3 baffle can on my 350 Legend AR and it's quiet enough to shoot a little bit without ear pro like hunting.
Today I'd look real hard at a YHM R9 or an Ecco Machine suppressor, I'd still use Griffin taper lock mounting system as it offers the common 1 3/8 X 24 thread adapter and a wide variety of muzzle devices for about any application.

Thank you for the recommendations. I am also waiting for @MachIVshooter to weigh in as well. Interested to hear what he has to say.

I will be a bit of an odd silencer.
Something built at least as big and sturdy as a 5.56 silencer with a hole big enough to pass 9mm bullets.
yes, I was thinking of the following currently but not decided:
Obsidian 45
Omega 36M
Hybrid 46/46M

the FLY 9 as recommended above
the YHM R9 as recommended abvoe

I would definitely give some thought to a future battery of suppressors.
What all you intend or may want to suppress would make a difference. IE the Hybrid 46 is obviously a very versatile can but like most jack of all trade types it doesn't accel at much.
Unless there is a 45 caliber rifle in your future, it's awfully big for no better than it suppresses smaller calibers.
Just some food for thought😉

If it’s gonna strictly be for 1 caliber, I would recommend staying away from the multi caliber cans and buy something close to 36 caliber…….JMO…

mavracer is correct, the port noise on an AR that's actually cycling is going to be at least mid-130s dBs, higher as the gas system gets shorter.

As such, for AR hosts, we generally recommend our 6.2-7" Valkyrie 36 or Aquilae 375. Bolt guns, on the other hand, there is a real benefit to running the 8-9" versions. Subsonic out of manual actions suppresses very well, supersonic loads do have a decent crack to them, more than high velocity rounds like .308 due to the wider & more blunt projectile at lower velocity.

We sold the last Valkyrie 36 we had on hand last week, but I do have stainless .375 cal Aquilae in 6.5" and 7", and 8 & 9" Accipiter 375 on hand. I am out of all titanium .375 cal models at the moment.

These are rated up to and including the .375 RUM & .378 Weatherby mag, can handle full power .350 Legend at any barrel length.

Black Friday sale starts tomorrow & runs though noon on Tues, 11/28. Friday will be the biggest discounts.

I do, and i do.
I actually have a 45ACP upper for an AR that I had Macon Armory do up as a DI gas system rather than blowback
I already have Omega 300s (both are 30 Cal) and Osprey 45 in my collection.

I already tried running a 45 caliber silencer on a 9. The results were lacking.
Much happier with the results running a 9 on a 9 and 30 cal on a 30 cal and so on.
I don't mind running my Omega 30 Cal on a 6mm...it does a nice job with my Dasher

I mean a rifle 45 rifle like 450 BM or 45/70, you could use a 45 pistol can on a 45 ACP upper just lose the booster n run direct.

Generally 30 caliber cans work better on 22s than 45 caliber cans do on 9mm.

I love my hybrid 46M. I run it mostly on a 357 Henry and with 38 special the two loudest noises are the hammer falling and the round hitting the berm...... Or the occasional coyote.

I did spring for the smaller end cap. Now I just gotta remember to switch it out when I step up to the 45.
