Thoughts on the Taurus model 809 9mm pistol?

please, let's not turn this into a Taurus bashing thread. Now, I'm not the biggest fan of Taurus pistols...but quite a few people i know have examples, and they are all pleased with their Taurus purchases.

anyone here own one of these or have experience with this particular model?

I have the PT840, and frankly, it's a very nice pistol. Fits well, aims well, goes boom when I need it to. Good price for the quality, and I hear decent things about Taurus customer service.
