I need to exercise my rifle more often

THR NAME: RoninTTK
CLASS: Rifle Stock
SCORE: 22
Target Distance (yards): 25yds

Not my best work ever, but I have not shot anything in a long time. I guess I should not have guessed where on the page the "+15" was and just gone for the black dot which I could see. I may give this a shot with my air rifle and .22 pistol and try to redeem myslef a bit... :banghead:

photo_guy, thanks for the time extension. I will shoot my targets by the end of the weekend. Also, it's too bad there haven't been many pictures of targets posted yet. :scrutiny: I really like looking at them. I'll have some up soon.

Mr. Bite,

I'da posted photos except that for the poor quality of my digital camera, I couldn't get it to even show the circles of the rings. Even when I printed out the original targets, at Kinkos, I couldn'r read the scores or the lines.

I am not whining. (I prefer American White, if yer gonna provide cheese)

This was a tough target to photographically reproduce. 'Splain it to them, Mr. Photo guy.

Mr. Bite,

That's NObite, please! :what:

Yeah, I may find the pictures to be tough to make legible as well. But, even so, it sure makes for interesting viewing to actually see the shot patterns.

I like to use TinyPic to host pictures. Works pretty well.

Yo, Mr. Nobite,

Sorry, not to take offense please. I was trying to be polite. Lots of times people call me "Crop" or "Mr. CircleWalker" or even "CCW", however, nobody has yet to call me Mr. Walker. I guess that is in respect for Chuck Norris. :D

I logged on to your link about the tinypic.com and note that it is a "Photobucket" owned enterprise. I already have a photobucket so I yam wondering, "Why not just keep my photobucket?"

Is there a benefit?

[aside] This is not thread drift. I enjoy looking at the targets too. If there is a benefit or an advantage to a particular image hosting site, it would be to all our benefits to find out about it. [\aside]

edited to add: I fergot to say......I fer sure don't scowl at anybody in school. I don't even know who yer niece is. Or anybody else fer that matter.

Hey, no offense taken. Just joshin' you.

I really didn't know who TinyPic was affiliated with, just that they do a nice job of rendering a small image suitable for these type of forums. I actually have an account with WebShots, but they don't have a similar service. TinyPic is pretty user-friendly and requires no subscription to use. Just my $0.02.

Ah, yes, the niece. That's a quote from a movie that has me laughing out loud each time I see it, Uncle Buck.

Ok I got my one target for the month shot today:

THR NAME: Mark whiz
CLASS: Air Rifle - Open Sights (Daisy 753)
SCORE: 55 points
Target Distance: 10 meters

I shot at 10 meters as this is only a 10 meter rifle.

Here's the scanned target, I tried to highlight it as best I could:
June Air Rifle

I finally got out to the range and was able to shoot some match targets. I got a chance to try out my new (to me) M1 Garand. Since it is new to me I didn't go for the 'hidden' target I just went for the visable one.

THR NAME: Photo_guy
CLASS: Supported Rifle Stock
SCORE: 36
Target Distance (yards): 50 yds

I also used my Kimber Pro Elite and went for the 'hidden' target with this one. Hit the +15 twice.

THR NAME: Photo_guy
CLASS: Pistol Stock
SCORE: 45
Target Distance (yards): 10 yds

I may be able to get target images posted soon.

Again, I really appreciate these matches. This time I just went for the gold every time, trying to find those elusive 15-pointers. :uhoh:

ARRRGH, I missed another one. I always forget to check under the competition forum regularly, so I usually miss out. I just printed out some targets to try, but as far as posting my scores, they wouldn't be much competiton. Probably 10 or 12....on a good day.

Photo Guy, I appreciate all you do, I'm just a laggard. :( However, I almost always get the targets after the fact and have a blast with them. :D
Thanks,
RT
