It's kinda like...
the old question of WHICH gun rights organization to belong to (except that neither TFL nor THR send you letters requesting financial donations!).
I plan on being active on BOTH. And enjoying it.

I'll go over to the new TFL, but over the last year and a half, THR has become my primary firearms forum. I can't see why that should change.

There's one major problem with TFL, in my opinion . . . the computer geeks at work block the site on the grounds that it's "chat, mature."
So I have to visit TFL from home.
I suspect THR has - so far - avoided this fate only because of its .org domain.

Right now Im loving this with two awesome gun forums to read. But its summer time, and I ahve the time for ti . Next fall, when school starts up, i think Im in trouble, maybe I should start setting a timer. 30 minutes of high road....ding. Ok now thirty minutes of firing line..ding. ok, just a couple minutes more, really. Its not about versus, its about trying to find the time to enjoy both.

The only problem that I will have with both boards being open is where to allocate another hour per day to read the three boards that I hit everyday .

The fact that there's even a TFL vs THR discussion sickens me. The fact that Rich had to say anything sickens me even more.
It's like saying "Who do you love more? Your First son or your Second Son?" Love them both!!
If it wasn't for TFL and THR, I'd have 1% of the gun knowledge I do now; and I think about 99% of the people on both boards would agree.
Competition? I'm sorry, but the swines on Capital Hill give us plenty.
What I can't stand about Rich is he's the one that got me started on wanting a Sig Blaser, and now somewhere (if not now, sometime later) I will be out of a few Ben'jamins to buy myself one. Other than that, with Rich, I wouldn't have the gun family I do now. As far as Rich and Oleg, both upstanding people. You don't have to agree with their viewpoints or politics, and you are welcome to if you want to, but it's people like them who help us take the fight to the gun grabbers.
Freedom is never free, but it's much cheaper with a lot of good guns on our side. TFL and THR, two for one deal, sweet!
We are each like candles, lighting someone else's candle in no way diminishes our own, but instead we as a group burn brighter.

I have the same problem. I checked it out one day and it seems to be the filter program which groups internet sites by keywords. I'd protest but then they would ask WHY I am protesting...
