THR While On Vacation

Just wanted to express my appreciation for this group, especially those that frequent Handloading and Reloading. You guys were my salvation and sanity keeper while on vacation in Myrtle Beach, SC.

While I always enjoy the beach, about the third day I'm ready to come back home. I normally don't take a computer but this time I took a laptop and purchased the ABC's of reloading (on the advise of a sticky thread) to read on the beach. I was able to access the internet via a hotel connection from down the road, which allowed me to download, access, and read all kinds of info on reloading. I was a much better person to live with as a result. Just ask my wife.

Again, thanks to everyone in the group. This forum is a class act!

On a recent trip to the beach I dove deep into the rainy day fund to buy a laptop and sprint mobile broadband card. It rained for a day and a half solid, and for about 1/2 of the first day I was High Roadin in style, then the infamous Denial of service attacks happened and I was left scratching my head, I thought the new computer or broadband card crapped out, but figured it out soon enough, It was kind of nice to watch movies and surf the web in the truck (I wasn't driving at the time), Now I bring THR along any time Im away from home for a couple days (and work too) comes in handy during downtime and those rainy vacation days.

Whenever I go TDY to different locations I like to meet THR members. Have met quite a few in my day. Houston, San Antonio, Albuquerque to name a few locations were THR members and myself have gotten together.

Same for me on my sons baseball trip over spring break. I would have had withdrawels without access.

i cant reply or even log in, but i can surf it rather effectively compared to other sites
