Hiya, anyone know where I can get a threaded 1/2x28 barrel for an HK P7. It would need to come out in front of the end of the gun for suppressor install.

Anyone know?

I don't know of any in stock, but they come up on gunbroker every once in a while. There was a guy on HKPro selling extended barrels a while back that you could have threaded, but I just did a quick search and couldn't find him. Might want to ask over there if you haven't, I'm sure someone will know.

You may already know this, but the P7 suppresses poorly. It is quieter than not having a suppressor, but much louder than other 9mms. I've been told it is because of the piston system, and don't know if that is true, but I do know that compared to a Glock and Sig with the same can the P7 didn't sound great.

Hmmmm. I have seen a couple suppressed P7s and they seem pretty quiet, and they don't need the Nielson device, so I can get away with a smaller cans.... as I understand it.

So, anyone else know of a place that sells the threaded barrels? I tried my google-fu, but cam up empty

AAC use to make threaded barrels for the P7M8, but they stop making them several years ago.

If you do find one, expect to pay around $300-500 for it and another $150-200 to have it properly installed.

Wear shooting glassess when shooting a noise suppressed P7, lots of gas gets blown back into your face due to the suppressor.

the install is the hidden expense, because the barrel needs to be press out of the frame.

the last extended barrel i saw was a Bar-Sto made for a long side M13
