Thrown off the skeet range!

I see MCGunner gets my sense of humor, but Davek1977 does not.
No, I wasn't being serious about suing them. That's why I used such grossly incorrect grammar.
Had I been serious about litigation, I would have posted, "I fully believe that you should sue them over their prejudicial treatment of you".

I may or may not continue shooting there.
You could always continue to shoot smokeless (sacrilege) for a while and let things cool off.

Then, you obtain a full list of all the rules and regulations of the club.
THEN, you determine whether you want to continue paying them your money just to shoot smokeless, or if you go ahead and commence making smoke(if it's not a violation of the rules), and produce your copy of the rules. Make them show you where the prohibit it.

Yes. BP is much more aurally pleasing than smokeless.
My Howdah has a boom that doesn't hurt your ears.
Any of my smokeless guns hurt the ears.
I don't get it.
But, hey. Some people are DBs.

Jaymo, do you have the 20 ga. Howdah from Cabela's? That's the firing BP replica of the lap gun they carried on elephants to keep the tigers at bay, right? How does it shoot? Is the kick brutal?

jj1962hemi, yes, I do. It's about the most fun you can have without getting nekkid.
In fact, I bought mine, on sale, from Cabelas a couple of years ago.
I love it. The recoil is nothing like a smokeless powder gun. Not painful or disconcerting at all. I ordered the round ball mold when I ordered it. Those .61 cal roundballs hit HARD.
It does kick more with shot, because it's a heavier payload, but it's not unpleasant in the least.
I find the Taurus Judge to kick harder, with .410 loads, than the Howdah.
If you want one and are in a position to get one, get it.
All my buds want one, after seeing and shooting it.
My best friend described it as having Mad Max's sawed off double, without the expense and paperwork.

I think every BP fan should have one, or two.

I should have bought the holster when I ordered it. I didn't get it because it's right handed, and I'm left handed.

I should have bought it anyway. I could un-stitch it and use it as a pattern for a LH version.

I love the look if it, and the history behind it. I'm considering joining an outdoor range this year. For now, I belong to a skeet club where I think a pistol (cool or not) might be a problem. My nearest range is indoor and pistol only. I'm happy to hear you love it! Do you have to reload to use it, or could a non-reloader go and buy the BP and ball or shot and make a go of it?
