Yes and no... :confused: :)

The frames are identical, except the .44 has a modified watertable to work with the .44 rebated cylinder. This has nothing to do with the backstrap & trigger guard.

But if you simply bolt those parts onto a frame (which will work) you may have to do some minor work on those places where they come up against the frame. If the parts are unfinished brass this makes life much easier. If not, a question about what or how to refinish (whatever) comes into play - if you want the resulting revolver to look like new. On the other hand, if you intend to age it for a well worn appearance you're home free.
