The AT piece is written by "Henry Percy...the nom de guerre for a technical writer living in Arizona", who, for all I know, might be one of our members.

He certainly knows enough about "gun culture" to take the "Chicks with Guns" book to task (as has been done here, when the book was discussed back in October) for depicting a woman posing with her finger on the trigger (the significance of which the folks at TIME probably wouldn't grasp, as they find "shocking" the very notion that some 20 million American women own guns).
