I lost a turret cap on my Burris Tac30. I emailed them to ask about buying another one since I couldn't find one on sale online anywhere. They said not to bother with buying one and to provide them my address so they can ship it free. I did, and two days later I got two free spares in the mail!
I admit, I have a soft spot for Burris especially when all of their products were made in the USA, and all of mine are. Back in 1982 or so, my first 'real' scope was a very early made 2-7x "Hi-Lume" that had the reticle erector tube get loose. Told them in a letter I needed it back ASAP for the upcoming PA deer season, they did just that w/o any hassle with my lifetime warranty, and it keeps trucking on to this day. Great scopes and company IMO and experience.
My first Burris was a 2-7 scope mounted on a Ruger 454 Casull. Was the only manufacturer within a 100 miles of me that made one I thought would hold up to the recoil of the hand gun. It’s still going strong. Never had a warranty issue or had to send one back until this year. After testing this one out if all is well I’m ordering the Veracity long range I’ve been looking at on line. Nothing to lose other than a $10.00 shipping fee.
