I have a Kahr P9 that I carry now more often than my glock b/c of weight and width...I really like that gun. The CW/CM series is VERY similar. I think the best of the both worlds might be the CM9...you can easily pocket carry it, and it would be much smaller than the Glock IWB. I have shot the P380 and it shoots VERY well. If I get another .380 that will be the one.
Some of the Bodyguards have had issues but, I think they have worked them out and if not S&W has amazing CS. Neat little pistol. I have shot it too, not bad not outstanding IMO.
I have a P238 and love it...I pocket carry it and sometimes IWB carry it. Mine is a newer production (2011) and has run 100%.
I don't like the Taurus guns...and you have far better options on the list.
The ppk is good gun again backed by S&W. I just like the 1911 battery of arms on the P238 better.
Well good luck with your choice.

I guess I'm in the camp that cant vote. I've seen/heard about too many feed problems with the little Kahrs, so I'd have a hard time trusting them, also dont trust Taurus. I would carry .380, but prefer 9mm, and the Bersa and Walther are way too heavy for a 6 or 7 shot .380 (if I'm going to carry a 20 ounce gun it might as well be an 11 shot 9mm). I've also read about lots of issues with the little bodyguard and the Sig, not to mention I haven't found a manner of dress that wont conceal a Glock 26 for me. I think If I absolutely had to have something smaller I'd carry a Walther PPS, which is roughly the same size as the 26 but thinner.

SO! What did you decide to get?

I know this is old but I'm curious. Also I picked up an LC9 and a CM9 since posting a month ago. The CM9 is SWEET!!!

Not knowing what the intended use will be, nor anything about the user, it's hard to make any kind of choices here. I do know there isn't one on that list I would personally buy for any reason however.

I ended up purchasing the Kahr CW40 (got one new for $299) and a Bodyguard .380. I shot about 50 rounds through each. The Kahr, for the first mag, shot like 5 feet low for the first magazine, but was flawless with the 2nd mag. I have NO idea what that was all about.

The Bodyguard was flawless, too. However, I sold the Bodyguard because I ended up being able to perfectly conceal the CW40. I've shot another 50 through it and besides those odd first 6 shots, no hiccups.

Good choice

Thanks for the reply FF. Yours is a familiar story. I couln't make up my mind and purchased an LC9 and a CM9. After about 250-300 rounds through each, I'm keeping the Kahr...and I'm a Ruger guy!

Wow. It's pretty hard to compile a list of 10 different handguns from 6 manufacturers that will absolutely never live in my safe. Just sayin'.............

I really don't like the LC9. It isn't the smallest available and those that are smaller are more comfortable to hold and shoot. I'm glad the CM9 is working out for you!

As a side note, my wife has completely fallen in love with the Sig P238. We shot it at a local range and now she must have one. LOL

I still carry a Glock most of the time because it's the most comfortable, the most accurate, the quickest to acquire the target, it holds 15 rounds, and because follow-up shots are a simple. It is only when I really don't want anything to ever be seen that the Kahr comes out.

I voted CM 9 because I just believe this model and the PM 9 are setting the standard right now for micro-9's.

Ask me again in a year and I may have a different opinion.

I voted for the CW9, but only if the walther ppk is a new one. If you can find an older German walther, then I would change my vote. James Bond knew what was up.
