Tips for compressing black powder

Do you compress the powder in your black powder cartridges? This weekend I made a video that shows three methods for compressing powder, as well as how you can make your own drop tube stand. It's so easy even a clumsy fool like me can do it!

Years ago there was KaDoody, a blackpowder compression ramrod for more accurate shooting.

Although I never used it myself, I remember that KaDOOTY system was a bit of a fad in the late 1990s. I guess it's not being made anymore?

In a muzzle-loader you don't usually need to compress the powder, but have you tried pouring the powder sloooowly down the barrel? That can actually affect accuracy because the powder settles better compared to just dumping it down the barrel.
