I been agressively expanding my firearm collection for about 5 years now, rarely selling or giving away any (selling 1 and giving away 8). There are still many guns I still would like to collect, like a Daewoo, Uzi, Sig 556, and the like, but I have been bouncing around the idea of entering into the world of NFA.

I have fired rifles and pistols with suppressors and really like them, also I like the idea of venturing into SBR arena with a couple of short barreled ARs in .223 and 9mm.

The cost of NFA toys are comperable to continued buying all the fun guns I mentioned earlier with the added cost of subsonic ammo and threaded barrels for my pistols and a couple of rifles, but the price of some guns just seems to increase every year as some haven't been imported in years.

So do you think I should keep buy the fun guns or dip my toe in the NFA pool?

If I had to do it all over again, besides buying the right guns off the bat, and fewer of them, I would suppress my .22's and precision rifles immediately.

NFA stuff can be highly addictive..:D

I started out just wanting a suppressor for my 22LR. 5 Tax stamps later with 3 more being processed I am learning this fact.:D

I would suggest starting with either a short barreled rifle or a 22 suppressor and see how you feel before plunging in on the big stuff. I'm still trying to figure out how to come up with the full auto price tag money..
