Does it bother you to buy more than one gun at once

Don't know. Never really done it. I did sort of a couple of times when my wife and I both bought one at the same time.

I bought them a few days apart, and I keep a running layaway at my local dealer it seems.

Never bothered me a bit.

Not unless I didn't want one of them!

I have bought more than one a couple of times, never bothered me.

I like buying more than one, at least some of the paperwork covers all guns bought that day. I hate filling out forms, It means I have to put my reading glasses on.

I find they come in 2's and 3's all within a week of each other. but they are not on the same purchase, or at the same shop generally.

I don't do it a lot, I think I've actually only done it once and it was recently.

As someone who works in a gun shop and does handle most of the legal work for the store as well, I can tell you... they do have to report multi handgun purchases within a five day period. But does it raise a red flag to the sales person? Not really. Keep in mind, your sales person buys guns, too. They don't care how many you are buying, because they're already feeling you out the minute you walk in the door. You could raise a red flag just buying a holster, or none at all while buying ten guns.

I have a very obliging FFL dealer here.

I transfer ONE gun=$20. Transfer 2 guns=$20. Transfer 3 guns=$20. Plus he specializes in old and odd-ball stock-in-the-box ammo. Almost a shame to shoot it! I personally have seen him call the owner of a consigned gun, and cut his own profit down to $25. I make a monthly circuit of about 20 gun shops in the state, and I always see him first ... and last. He also finds unusual fishing-lures for me, and has a very good line of hunting-appropriate milsurp clothing and packs. My cheap-shot is to buy a lot of small stuff, pack it in an ammo can, and buy the can for one-buck. He doesn't mind. I like him to stay in business.

It bothers me because I normally plan my purchases based on my shooting interests and needs. Buying a gun on an irresistible deal screws with my other parts of the budget. Outside of my budgetary concerns, it wouldn't bother me.

Got a deal on a pair of handguns from a local pawn shop. After I paid for them found out I could only pick up one gun per month unless I went through the State Police and got a waiver (Virginia). I decided to ask for a waiver and got it approved. Trouble is it took them over 30 days to process the paperwork. Still saved me $25 FFL transfer fee. I now have a CCW permit so I believe I can purchase one a day (not sure about multiple purchases of handguns since I haven't tried it again since. It wouldn't bother me, just might not be allowed in Virginia.
