CZ Rami or CZ 75 compact. Something else? Getting bought today. I need to know! Pros and cons? Is the Rami severely limited in accuracy at 25 yards? I want this gun to carry and shoot. Both in 9mm. Already have a P95 in 9mm, which is very close to the size of the 75 compact. Thanks!:D

Please help. The options have me confused.:what: I want them ALL!

PS. How does a RAMI compare in size to say, a mouse gun, like my Beretta 32 tomcat. I want something with more meat than that.

I have the Rami and love it. Not small but still concels well. If I had to do over I would be in your shoes. Depends on what you are looking to do. If you can conceal the bigger of the two, the 75 Compact or P01 has bigger mag capacity, if not the Rami will do you just find. Probably does help much but my 2 cents.
25 yards is a lot to ask for a ccw. Again if you can conceal it well the 75 compact or P01 could be the better for range use.
The Rami is bigger than the Tomcat but I think it is slimmer and much more gun in my opinion.

I've only shot the 75compact. But it was such a nicely made gun that I plan to get one eventually.

I would love a RAMI, but I'd love a Compact more. I have a PCR, great gun, light enough to not be a bother but metal feels so good. I think most people are pretty happy with the RAMI for accuracy.

Armoredman, you are evil! Beautiful collection, now I'm more confused :D Keep the analyses coming, 5 votes doesn't make it "scientific" :)

yeah, it seems we all have this problem. where are you from?

i haven't handled a RAMI, but if it's a mini 40b... then if i'm going to carry something that thick, it might as well be a 75 compact and hold more ammo... but that's just me.

I'm a huge CZ fan (shoot an SP-01 in competition), but I recently sold my RAMI to get a S&W M&P9 Compact. While the RAMI is a great gun, it is oddly shaped for carry. The finger rest is not a finger rest and falls in between my fingers. It is about the same size at the M&Pc but the M&P holds 2 more rounds, RAMI is slightly wider. RAMI safety is near impossible to manipulate easily, it is 5 oz. heavier and is very hard to find specific kydex holsters for. I also think the M&P has less felt recoil.

While I loved the RAMI as a range toy and a cool little pistol that takes any CZ75 mags, for a carry piece it just did not cut it compared to the M&P compact. One more cool thing about the RAMI is that my CZ Kadet .22lr conversion worked with it just fine.

If the P-01 or CZ Compact guns aren't too large for carry (they are for me) they are great pistols that can easily double for range duty.

+1

In 9mm a glock is the best way to go IMHO. 17/19/26/34 they are all accurate reliable and practically indestructible.

Or he could get a CZ 75 in 9mm, more accurate, as reliable, and all the durability of steel!

That is correct squirrels. By the way, I am in SE TN to answer your previous question. I am calling Bud's in 20 minutes. It is now 330 ET. I am close to a decision, but not 100%.

Whichever one you get, if you don't like it, there are plenty of us on board who would love to expand our CZ collections with a gently used Compact or RAMI.

CZ Rami it is. Deciding factor came down to already owning a pistol of CZ compact size. Needed something a tad smaller. Thanks!

passintime,

i like the compact better than the RAMI. really though, you can't go wrong with either.
