Too many good men died in those times.
My Grandfather died a decade ago with 88.
He had a dozen russian shrapnel in his back,
but i cannot recall him wailing about it ever.
He was an honorable simple man, who did not
understand what he was actually fighting for,
but he believed it was his duty. So he fought
in Norway and till the end in russia.
I´m glad that he told me about it, before he passed away.
And i´m glad, that as terrible as this war was,
it united the western world.
