Too old, too female, no gun permit.

I'm late to the party but found this post through a search for "delaware."

I read some peoples thoughts in the comments section of the original article.

Someone suggested that there was suspicion that this women was attempting a straw purchase. The thought process was that why would an older, women, up and buy a gun all of a sudden.

I have no idea if that was the Delaware firearms units concern, but if so it still sounds pretty indefensible to me.
