Meet my buddy. (Hello buddy.)
Buddy hasn't shot guns in a long time, the last gun buddy shot was a .22. I think we can help cure this ailment!

We went to the range and warmed up with .22s. I took my new romanian, buddy brought a marlin repeater that looks like an M1 carbine and a JC Higgins single shot, that little gun was a lot of fun! About 800 rounds later, we moved onto the hard stuff.
And we took some pix! :D

His first venture into the centerfire zone was the sks.
"Hey buddy, don't touch that gas tube on the top, its real hot!"
"You mean this one?" *sizzle*

For some reason, buddy seemed attatched to my mosin at the shoulder! He went through more than 60 rounds!

I also got to try my new K31, crimany! That sucker kicks worse than the nagant! I also love *drool* my Ruger 77 in .22-250! But enough of my likes and dislikes, I took these pics just because I knew that jobu07 would harass me if I didn't. Feast thy ravenous eyes! :neener:

I'm pretty sure that i got this one during full recoil. Pretty cool, eh?

I like having a matching bayo for the K31! :D

All in all, a fun, productive and hot day. (note to self: wear sunscreen!)

Beautiful! :p But, how come you didn't get a shot of your buddy doing a bayonette charge on the target ;) Tisk tisk.
But I do love seeing that bayo affixed to the M39. It doesn't look canted at an angle like your other photos, did ya fiddle with it some?

Cosmo, that bayonet is a ChiCom knockoff I got through interordnance . I paid fifty + S&H, its fair quality wise but there used to be a smith/knife maker in a small town south of wichita, I may take it to him to use as a template for something better.

Wayne, I think I phrased that wrong. As much as I wish it was, that isn't the numerical equivalent for my rifle. I meant the bayo that went with the gun.

I'm still impressed. I read that the bayos cost as much as the gun, if not more.
