Poetic justice

Got this from a friend of mine from California.:D

Twas the night before Christmas and all through San Quentin, the crips were protesting, and liberals were ventin'.

The cyanide hung by the chamber wth care, in hopes that the reaper soon would be there.

The inmates were nestled all snug in their bed ; except for Old Tookie, who soon would be dead.

And me with my beer mug, dressed warm in my flannell, had curled up to watch it, on the Fox News Channel.

I set up my TIVO to record the news station, and thoroughly loved the momentous occasion.

It seemed lady justice had gotten her way, and that there would be one less savage today.

When outside the jail there arose such a clatter, the cameras had turned to see what was the matter.

When what to my civilized eyes did appear, but a lineup of actors, all liberal, half queer.

The misguided freaks drew some curious looks, as they proclaimed his innocence; clutching his books.

The tears then flew out from Sarandon's eyes, as she nominated him again for the Nobel Peace Prize.

The actors were tethered to an ACLU sleigh, all towing the line of the urban decay.

On Asner, on Penn, on liberal cop-haters, On Sharpton, on Jesse and other race-baiters.

Then at 3:01 all curled up like a beetle, Tookie cried like a bitch as they gave him the needle.

When up from the actors there arose such a cry, they had failed in their mission, and Tookie DID DIE !!

I heard Bill O'Reilly say, as I turned out my light, Merry Christmas to all ... there was justice tonight !!

don't click unless you are actually prepared to see what happens when cold-blooded scum kill people at close range, no doubt right in their faces, with shotguns.

there is no doubt within my mind that whoever killed these people in such a fashion deserves to be executed. as to whether tookie is actually innocent - i find it hard to believe that in 25 years he could not have found a flaw in the prosecution.

or could it be that all those people to profess their undying love for tookie only showed up as he was going to die anyway so they could get in the limelight? no, no, of course that can't be the case.

I do believe in redemption. However, for there to be redemption, one must first admit they have committed a wrong. Tookie never admitted to the murders. He was therefore not sorry for what he had done. Is there a chance he didn't commit those crimes, yeah, but I really doubt it. He had some of the best representation, so it wasn't because of inadequate counsel. People see Tookie as an harmless, articulate man who writes childrens books, he couldn't have committed those murders. I find that idea laughable, as he wasn't always that way. It is so outrageous that the FOUNDER of the crips would be capable of murdering someone? Ah well, whats done is done. He's settled it with the Lord by now. With no repentance, there can be no forgiveness. I wonder where hes at?

Socialist unions? The Nation of Islam? Anti American slurs? Anti GOP President remarks?

Was this a death penalty vigil or a political rally for leftist causes?

Announcement: Critical thinking in America is dead. The decline of Western Civilization is gathering speed.

Friggin people are nuts out there.

They wonder why the silent majority of people out there see this for what it was. No matter how you feel about the death penalty, this whole circus got too much attention from the media.

The teddy bears had their picnic, why shouldn't the barbarians? I hope someone was writing down license plate numbers.

Tookie's Funeral should be remembered as a symbol of where we have arrived, morally, at the end of AD 2005. Everything is upside-down. Everything is mocked. Everything is profaned.

Tookie wants to have his ashes scattered over South Africa (are you listening, Oprah?). Yes, South Africa, the baby-rape capital of the world.

To get out of Hell Dante had to pass through Satan's rear-end. It appears we are all in the process of doing just that. This is a time to hold our noses and pray for courage.

Clips from the original post. (my comments italicized)

Snoop Dogg says "I don't believe Stan did it" .

Tookie's own words: "Teach them how to avoid our destructive footsteps. Teach them to strive for higher education. Teach them to promote peace and teach them to focus on rebuilding the neighborhoods that you, others and I helped to destroy."

while ... in the crowd:
"Several dozen gang members wearing blue attire associated with Crips gangs watched the funeral in the parking lot. One who identified himself as "Killowatt the Third," age 33, estimated there were 20 to 30 Crips-affiliated gangs there to honor Williams. "That's my role model, man. That's the CEO of the Crips," he said.

I guess the children's books trying to dissuade young people from gangs and violence didn't take hold with this crew

--------------------------------------------------------------

Tookies legacy indeed lives on in the very existance of the gangs that roam the neighborhoods "I helped destroy". I might have an opinion, but I'm not his judge. I'll leave that to the innumerable victims of gang violence throughout this land who have suffered.

I had to re-read your post a few times. You are so correct, that it isn't even funny.

Your post is one of the most profound things I've ever read on this forum since I started here.

It's interesting how all of his 'supporters' believe he 'didn't do it' and yet they say to stay his execution because he's 'reformed'... well which is it folks?

Anyways, it's not like they're there for him, they are there to stir more s--- about race issues and the death penalty.

well said. ironically, despite the fact that i am against a police state with anyone else in charge, i am for a police state with me in charge. the first thing i would do is round up all the "enlightened" celebs and force them into sensory reconditioning like in clockwork orange. part of the sensory overload would include such posts as the qouted one above.

it's is treuly a sad sad day.

When we have people celebrating this peice of garbage.

This handbasket we are in is getting closer and closer to hell everyday.

If you want to have fun (or feel nauseated - take your pick), see here for photographs and descriptions of the demonstrations outside the prison when Tookie was executed.

They already did form a union. It's called "unions".
