I have been looking for a top break revolver for a while. Today at the Knoxville show I found an H&R 999 for $200. That was good. On closer examination, putting the revolver in moment-of-fire the cylinder needed another quarter turn to lock. That was bad. I passed. I then found an Enfield No.2 Mk.1 dated 1937 with matching numbers and RAF marking. It is still tight with most finish except around the muzzle. I think it was well worth $225. Now I have to buy 38 S&W. Thats bad. A pretty good day except for the rain.
