Topping mags off,who does it?

I never top off my 1911's, that way I have someplace to store the chambered round when it is ejected, but I do use an 8rd mag now that I have received one of them there Tripp Cobra Mags.

Lemme try this again. Loading a 20-round magazine with 20 rounds sometimes produced a failure to go to battery in some rifles. This was
more of an action/buffer spring issue than anything else, and not the fault of the magazine.

So then its a design flaw.

hence the porn industry joke :)

Here's a test. Go to an IDPA or IPSC match. Notice how many download their 10-round mags.

I personally don't know why anyone would own a gun they had to download the mags to get it to run right. at least not a defense gun.

Wonder if the VC downloaded their AK mags?

:)

Never really occured to me that I could top-off the mag after chambering the first one out.

I might be concerned about where to park the chambered bullet if I should have to clear the firearm later on, and in a place far away from my ammo trays/boxes/bins.
