I'll be vacationing there in 2 weeks.
What's the closest range that allows rifles etc. Outdoor preferably.
Can I CCW there on my FL permit? Or is it some state park or something?

    Thanks!

FL has reciprocity with NC so no problem wih ccw, the nicest place I can tell you is the buccaneer shooting club. www.buccaneergunclub.org They usualy only let members and thier guest shoot. It is about 30 minutes away from Holden. There is an indoor pistol range in Wilmington open to public but they charge. http://www.shooterschoice.net/

Holden beach is its own town with its own small police department. They are more concerned with your dog crapping on the beach that if you carry a gun.

You might try checking out Myrtle Beach Indoor Shooting Range. You are about as close to Myrtle as you are to Wilmington. FL and SC also have Reciprocity. Here is their website: www.mbisr.com

If you go to the Myrtle Beach Indoor range..

Buy your ammo elsewhere, they can be pretty pricey, even by the current standards...good staff though and I shoot there regularly..
