Does anyone make a reduced power spring kit for the Taurus 627? Wolff dosn't seem to offer one.
If anyone has one, what do you think of them? How is the accuary compaired to a GP-100 or Smith 686?

I have a Taurus Tracker 627 Titanium 4'' barrel. You really can't compare impressions of this to the steel version. Mine's lightweight and recoils more. With the lightness the heavy factory trigger pull was too heavy to stage the trigger. I was having cylinder binding problems after less than 100 rounds and before the cylinder heated up.

Soo, I just got it back from the gunsmith after having him do a trigger job and cure the cylinder binding(which worked)

The Wolf Gunsprings reduced Power pack (Stock number 17190 ) for the 617 works in the 627. It has 10,11 and 12 lb hammer springs and 10 and 11lb trigger springs. The lightest of each worked well in mine.

Mine is a nice carry or trail gun, but It can't compare to the sweet trigger on my 686. I would get the smith if I had to choose. I would also get the Steel Taurus.
