I went and shot my G19 again and I still can't shoot it for crap. So, I traded it in for a an almost new S&W 910. Now I know alot of you are going to think I am nuts, but I am much happier now. The gun handles much better in my hand and it is much easier to point and shoot. The transition from DA to SA is actually not bad, and I am quite sure I can get used to it. I shot about 250 rounds through it today with no jams or misfires. On a side note, I dry fired a Sigma today and what the heck is up with the trigger on that thing?  Sheesh it is horrible to say the least!! Happy shooting!

I have a 915, which is basically the 910, but came with one 15rd mag.
This gun has been reliable, always feed, fire and eject.
Trigger's a bit rough and gritty, there's always this feel of some sand in that thing. I usually better accuracy out of my USP9 and 92FS.
I think you'd need more practice with the GLOCK getting used to the trigger. I needed that when I first bought mine.

Good choice on the 910. It is a 3rd Generation Smith with a good solid rep, cheap mags and lots of holsters. My favorite 3rd gen is a 69xx guns.

I do have a 40VE and the trigger smooths out after dry firing and about 500 rounds. It is very reliable with great ergonomics.

You got the best of two good pistols. Third generation Smiths may well be the very best autos ever made and certainly are the most under-rated.

If it works for you and you are happy with the trade, then good for you. I must say that after shooting my Sig P228 and Ruger P97 so much recently, the grip angle of my G19 leaves something to be desired.

You know, it really doesn't matter what anyone lese has to say, as long as you're happy w/ the trade, you done good! :D

Congrats. I too have never had much luck w/ accuracy w/ Glocks - at least not until I got a Glock 34 - the stock lighter trigger pull seems to have helped me adjust to the trigger.

But, most of all, glad you are happy. Post a photo :)

And to think....for the last few weeks, I have been trying to trade an excellent condition 5906 for a G19 to somebody here on THR and had no luck.....

Damn it...then I went to the show this weekend and traded her in on a new G19 with night sights.

Wish we could have hooked up.
