I just couldn't warm up to the LC9. This is the second one I've had, my main gripe with the LC's is the trigger.....Why Ruger would put such an awful and cheap feeling trigger in an otherwise nice carry pistol, I have no idea
I did try a Galloway hammer upgrade but it caused to pistol to start light striking, after going back to the factory setup and putting 100 more rounds through it I realized I wasn't going to be happy with the gun.
When I walked in last night my LGS had just gotten in two Kahr CM9's. I've always loved Kahr triggers and what is not to like about the CM9 as an EDC? They are light, accurate and very shoot-able for small pistol. The store offered me a fair enough trade on the LC9 so I took it.

Very nice. I'm still trying to figure out if I like my LC9 enough. I'm not accustomed to shooting pistols this small, so I'm going to give it a fair chance.

Love that Hume holster you have.

Thats what Iam about to do - get rid of my LCP and get PM9. It shoots so much better, and has milder recoil. Too bad Kahrs are so expensive in Europe.

Good call. Kahr triggers have a long pull but they are so buttery smooth. I love to shoot mine. Enjoy!

xXxplosive..That holster model is a 715 IWB.
They make them in a variety of styles such as one with a body shield to keep the gun off of your skin,a model with a thumb break,a model with snap on belt loops.
All styles are very reasonably priced too.
I just wished at times I could get used to an IWB holster.

I've been considering the exact same thing. Had a PF9 first but it was finicky with ammo which caused me to lose faith in its overall reliablity. Went to a LC9 and just can't shoot worth a damn with that awful trigger. Now i'm weighing between a Khar and the newer Sig pocket 9. If only Glock or HK would make a single stack subcompact nine.

I think you will really like your Kahr.
Get on Kahrs website and watch the video of dissasembly/assembly to get a decent grasp on how to do it if you already have not.
After about 500 rounds that recoil spring will start to loosen up enough so the slide operation wont be so stiff.
I love my PM9.

I love my pocket CM9 and it's also my plinker. (You don't hear pocket gun and plinker in the same sentence very often.) Over 1000 rounds in 2.5 months and still no malfunction.

I'm currently debating picking one up as well for something smaller than my 4" XD 9mm, it'll either be the CW9 or a XD compact.....or better yet maybe both :)

For me the ruger trigger is long but smooth and the kahr grip is too small for my hand.I could only get 1 and half finger grip on it,plus you lose 1 round to the lc9.

That is true jimbo, the LC9 did fill out my hand a little better, but nothing a Handal Jr. won't take care of. As for fingers, I get two on the CM9 and that's all I need.

I did the exact same thing. Had the LC9. Everything was perfect about it except the horribly long trigger. Upgraded to a Kahr CM9 and am very happy. Was close to getting a Nano but it felt unnaturally nose heavy and was a little too bulky.

Huge improvement to the cm/pm9 is the pearce grip extension - helps with control and does not impact concealability.
