What does the breach design on a Traditions sidelock look like. Looking down the bore of my Deerhunter with a light , at the bootom of the barrel I can see a smaller bore that leads to a small chamber where the drum and breach plug screw together. Meaning, it's not full open bore to the face of the plug, the ram rod will stop on the edge, where the 3/8" hole is, but not hit the back of the breach. Any of this make sense ? Anyone have a cross section of this design ? Doesn't look like the CVA "improved" design. Maybe I'm looking at it wrong ? Just curious . -Thanks

That's a Palmer breech, it's breech plug with a small hole for a flash channel. If you have to remove the breech, take out the nipple drum first.
