No ammo restrictions in Maryland, just keep it in your trunk. DO NOT GO THROUGH DC.
Traffic is as good a reason as any to avoid DC.
Hey, drilling the holes sounds like a good idea, but does the law specified that that makes it okay?
Two, getting pulled over and then being searched for guns happened to a Florida family on an Interstate passing through Baltimore in January 2014. No arrest or charges resulted, but spending a couple of hours on the shoulder of a freeway being searched and questioned is not something I personally would enjoy.
That was in DC. The only place that could potentially be a problem along your route would be Maryland, and as others have said, even that shouldn't be a problem. I have to transit that state often on my way to WV and we normally just make sure everything is unloaded, in the trunk, FOPA compliant etc., follow the traffic laws to the T and don't stop.No it is not really ammunition but I thought I read a piece about a businessman somewhere being on trial for having a SPENT CASING -- and this obviuosly includces that and a real projectile (just nothing to push it).
