Traveling with Guns-The Guys Caught at the Tunnel w/Gun Pics on Their Vehicle

You may remember last year a few guys were arrested as they tried to pass through the Holland Tunnel from NJ to NY in a vehicle completely covered with ads for a gun store. The ads included a large scope cross hairs. They were stopped ostensibly because the truck had a cracked windshield, yeah. Shockingly, guns were found in the vehicle.

They were supposedly on a mission from God to save a 16 year old girl from a drug den in Brooklyn. Turns out the driver took a plea yesterday that may include a short stint inside.

Note to self, when traveling with guns in a state that outlaws them, even if legal, don't do it in a rolling billboard that screams I HAVE GUNS INSIDE.

So ... upon getting out of my truck after arriving in Manhattan, do you think it would be enough to leave my gun(s) in the truck?

The empty holster and mag pouches on my belt shouldn't cause me any problems with any passing policemen, yes?

People make poor life choices everyday, some of those choices involve firearms. That does not automatically make it a topic for discussion for THR.
