Hard to explain what is going on around here. After months of off and on stuff showing up......but usual stock being 25 to 30 powders on any given day......as of today, Midway has no powders available. Something wrong about that.

Graf's in Mexico has two cabinets full of various powders......at least half or more shotgun powders. Not many rifle powders when I was last there. Called Full Circle in St. Charles and he said they just got a big shipment of rifle powders.......including Varget and H4350. Yet not a single pound of shotgun powder in the store and hasn't seen any for a while. Was told that after a 15 year break on shotshell loading, everybody and their brother are pulling out old loaders to get going again. Did have shotshell components most of last year.....now has none.

The Midway situation smacks of something going on in Europe along the lines of AMMO Inc donation. Perhaps a donation of all the powders in stock to a good cause?
I think wholesalers and distributors are still filling back orders any way they can. In the last week gas has gone up $1/gal. Diesel $1.25. Everything in this country moves on trucks. When fuel prices go up, so does the price of shipping. And that determines how the retailers are supplied - prices increase, drives down availability, while driving up prices.

As of 2000 hours last night, neither one had any powders up. If they do today - great.

Stopped by the local Academy on the way to the hacienda tonight...they had butt loads of 2.23 and cheap (steel case) 9MM...but not much else. I did pick up a box of 7.62x39 projectiles (found them hidden behind some other crap on the shelf) for 43.00 :(
I’m going to pull those cheap steel 9mm and load them to match quality

The new suv doesn’t have a Prius push bar so you’re safe from me. The roads we live on rattle big cars to bolts and scrap. A Prius wouldn’t make it past the first cattle gate.
With fuel costs higher the prices of everything else can’t help but go up.

lol! I was a full time Uber driver in Seattle for 3 years, My guess-ta-mation, I had 14,000 different people in my car! and still have not had to even change the brakes. And we got hills here!

You should try a Prius, it’s very practical

We have Jimmy Carter back in the White House just waiting on the radio to start playing disco again, but I did ask the old lady to put the tube top back in the closet.

It's life control the things you can and don't worry about the rest.

Got that from crossing the Atlantic over 12 times and 13 Hurricanes. Just had to hang on and hope for the best. Even had a Mediterranean Hurricane once I think there 12 in the last century, Lucky me. :(

What are you going to do when you have a brown out when everyone else plugs their prius in? Nobody has figured out that electricity takes energy to generate it.
The few people I know who are first time gun owners are dazzling urbanites. They drive cars that need roads and until recently thought cell phones and 9-1-1 would keep them safe. Out in the sticks we drive trucks that cross creeks and don’t bother calling the Sheriffs until it’s time to fill out reports and dispose of…well let’s just say cleanup and leave it at that. I don’t know why these highly educated professionals never learned to shoot or hunt but that’s how people are. And that’s why we have gluts and shortages in the world. The unprepared paying any price for things they can’t use in order to feel better about themselves.
