Hello all, me and a buddy went blastin' in the boonies this afternoon, i brought my latest toy, a Romanian G model built for and sold by Classicarms @349. The first shot went off fine, but on the 2nd shot there was virtually no resistance from the trigger, just pulled all the way back, no click,no hammer-fall, no nothin'. Then a couple mags went off fine, both slow shooting and rapid fire. Then later it happened one more time, i ejected and chambered another round and it fired flawlessly for a few more mags. My freind is blaming it on the US made G2 trigger group, said he'd run into problems with them before, but everything i've read about them has been good ( the G2's are working fine in my Lancaster and Saiga conversion) . Other than this anomoly, the gun was beer-can-accurate right out of the box. I did do a quick/cheap re-finish job on the wood furniture, sand-steel wool- tung oil, and it's much better, but all in all, i like this gun. Anyway, i'm hoping for any info at all on this "problem", is it something that'll fix itself as the gun breaks in, or is it a real issue requiring a return or trip to a smith? Many thanks......M.

My suggestion is to clean the innards with a solvent to make sure there is no gunk or metal filings causing the sticking. The other thing to check for is peening on any of the fire control parts.

I had a similar problem on a Saiga converted into an AK-103 replica by Hesse ( :barf: ). Ironically, I rectified the problem by replacing the Hesse FCG with a Tapco G2 FCG.

Sounds like you're slipping off and on one of the connections inside. You really need to post a pic of the innards. Some Wz88 Tantal clones from Interarms were having similar issues in the past year, and it involved a replacement part.
