Trimming Brass and Military Crimps

I'm just getting into reloading and have a 50 cal. can full of once fired Prvi, Federal Brown Box and Lake City ammo that I've fired from my AR. Being once fired, would I need to trim the cases using a full length resizer? Also, I'm assuming the LC has the military crimp, but do you know if the Prvi and Federal have the crimps?

First off you don't trim with a sizer. You will have to trim separately and yes you will have to full length resize anything fired in a semi(or full auto)auto. The privi probably won't have a crimp and the federal might. If it was made to mil spec it will have a crimped primer.

1. clean it first, Tumbler or whatever you have. Even if you have a carbide resizer there''s no reason not to clean the brass first.
2. Full length size and depriming is the same step. Make sure you lube your cases first.
3. Trim to length if needed. (check you manual, and I hope you have a set of calipers.).
4. Ream the inside and then the outside of the necks.
5. If they have a crimp ring, then you need to ream it out some, but not much.
The rest is pretty much based on the type of press you have.

I always called it reaming but I'll call it chamfer or potato, as long as it puts a bevel on the inside so I can get to damn 7.62x39's in the stupid hole straight. I wish they'd make a BT.
