Troll Moderator ....

What if a gun forum promoted a Troll to Moderator Status. One who is a progressive liberal that hates everything to do with the Tea Party. One who pushes a Union agenda every chance he can. One who proudly posts the 12 most insulting comments that he can make against a Conservative Tea Party member...

Imagine a forum that has such a Moderator. One that insults the membership and looks down his nose at the uneducated masses. One who lectures about how stupid an insignificant your opinions are...

Think it can't happen.... It already has. There is a site owner/admin that has let this go on for a good while.... It speaks more to the ownership then the fool they elevated to a Moderator.

I'm not sure who you are talking about, but this site is for conservatives and liberals alike. It's about guns, about the RTKBA.

Moderators should know better than to spew their political beliefs around here, I've seen plenty of posts removed and reprimands given for members doing the same.

If what you say is true, you should report it to the other mods. Hell, this mod probably knows that you are talking about him, so just call him out on it. If it's true, then you'll have an army of people reporting his crap to the other mods, if it's not true, if you are just overreacting to something he might have said, perhaps we can have a reasonable discussion on it.

PC answers so far. If this thread gets locked, as predicted...what does that message bring? PC is the problem...and it has gone to the opposite extreme on the gun boards. I didn't join boards to be told that I am at fault for all that is wrong in the Country.

The title of this section of the board espouses Activism....Perhaps it's time we stopped taking it on the chin and stood proud. I'm ashamed to see the direction that many gunboards have taken.

Mostly ~ Tail between their legs and beggin' to their new political masters... Maybe it's time we grew a collective spine.

It brings the message that if you fail to adhere to the basic rules for the activism forum, your post will be locked.

It brings the message that we don't do forum wars here, so if you air your dirty laundry, your post will be locked.

If you don't like a moderator on a another forum, bring it up with the staff there or find another forum. Hell, start your own if you want. But don't come over here looking to stir up the pot.

For those dying of curiosity, the original poster is unhappy about a post made by a moderator of another message board in the political section of that message board. Inexplicably, he thought this was the right place to recruit a lynch mob.
