Awesome.

Will these be a new Tromix product available for purchase or is it just a one off?

You're a madman and I love it. You inspired many of my own mad creations. Your work is pretty much the reason I got into gunsmithing, man. :D

Techie question for you sir.. ( I only call folks I respects that :) )

How did you deal with the recoil spring issue and extractor/ejector reliability issue?

I own a .458 chambered AR and it's a Thumping handful.. I can't imagine what that one's gonna feel like.. grins.

If the info is proprietary.. it's cool :) just curious as all heck!

If all goes well with shooting, which I am very confident that it will, I will then consider making some more. I will probably build a couple more one-offs to make sure I can repeat the job with some sort of speed. It can't take all day to make one, or the price would be through the roof.

I also want to test this 1:14 twist Adams & Bennett barrel and see what kind of accuracy it will do. When I was building the .458 AR's, I used 1:18 Pac-Nor Super Match barrel blanks that run $280 versus $80 for the A&B barrel.

The conversion is actually no more difficult to do on the Sig than it is to do on an AR. The AK and Mini-14 take a pile more work.

I haven't had a chance to take it out. We have a bunch of ice and snow rolling in with temps in the single digits, so it won't be happening anytime soon.
