"Get a glock seems to be a standard answer. Has anyone here seena glock fail? I am not a huge glock fan but I have owned a couple of 23's and a couple of 19's. I never had one malfunction. Do they happen?"

Yes.
A friend had so much trouble with his new 17 that he tried to give it to me.
I wouldn't take it.
He finally got it running after throwing enough money at it.
He didn't learn and bought a couple more Glocks that he had to put money in. I believe now his 19 has a broken guide rail that there is a recall about.
The range where I qualify for my CCW requires that you use their Glocks and factory FMJ ammo.
Granted the guns probably have had a lot of use (but isn't that what Glock owners say they are good for) but EVERY time I've shot or been there when others are shooting, at least one gun jams on almost every rapid fire string.
I really don't want to bash a gun I haven't own but I won't own one because I won't have one even if it's free.
