funny you should ask...
I've recently been motivated to purchase .22 rifles for each of my six kids.
That really has more to do with politics than anything else.
Prior to that, I had basically achieved the level of changing the firearms I have always wanted into that which I currently own:
A good concealed carry pistol, a large capacity Soviet made assault rifle, a well made pump action shotgun, and an array of others that are just plain old fun to shoot and/or have some intrinsic value to me but really just came to me cheap and can be easily sold for a few hundred bucks if need be...
There are still plenty out there that I would really love to own, but times are tough and I don't buy unless it's a sick deal that I just can't pass up.
I also only "shop" for a gun when taxes come back...
