So I am trying to find a .45 M1911 Carry pistol that has a:

4" barrel
Picatinny Rail
Adj sights or a slide that is at least 1" flat on the top for a Doctar sight
Hold at least 8+1 rounds
Exposed Hammer or (in case of most DAO 1911's) a pistol that can have an exposed hammer "added"
Manual safety

Of course the obvious ones are Kimber, Springfield, Colt and Para...but none of their models fit the mold exactly...

Can anyone think of any others?

Thanks!

Colt owns the trademark name for Commander which has
a 4.25" Bbl Len. & not many offer an adjustable sight for 1911s
less than full size 5" Bbl. Len.
THis is the reason why some manufacturers say "Commander" Length
Bbl./SLlide , or some just go with a 4" Bbl./slide leng.

The Springer, Kimber, Wilson, and S&W M1911 pattern pistols fit the bill except for the adjustable sights. (I don't think Colt has a 1911 with a rail.)

It is a generally widely accepted rule that you don't want adjustable sights on a carry gun. You won't have much luck finding a carry gun with those on it from the factory. You can always change it, but know that they are a liability that offers little benefit on a carry gun.

Isn't the doctor sight a holosight?
How's that gonna work on a carry 1911??

What are you planning to use this for?

There's no such thing as a DAO 1911.
All m1911's have an exposed hammer.
All m1911's have a manual safety.
All full-sized frame M1911's allow for 8rd magazines. The compact frames lose a round.
