tube magazine on marlin#60

I just replaced the tube magazine on my marlin#60...Nothing to it except,when I replaced the newroll pin I can not push the inter magazine tube past the new roll pin.....Any Ideas??? I save the old pin just incase,and it looks a bit bugered up.....

I shortened my 60 magazine, and when I put the pin back in it bulged the mag tube, and wouldn't allow me to insert the spring rod back in. I used a small round file to knock the bulge back down and it works fine now.

Not to hijack the thread but when you buy the new mag tube does the spring and all come with it?

Just wondering.

I bought a 60 yesterday and put about 200 rounds through it last night and it was perfect. A good $100 spent.
